Cultural Education
At Garden Suburb Public School, Indigenous students are supported and encouraged to celebrate their heritage through weekly cultural group sessions, personalised learning pathways, NAIDOC Week events, and special assemblies. Each year, students and staff are elected to participate in our Junior Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG), where they contribute to planning and advocating for initiatives that recognise and honour the unique identity, knowledge, and history of Aboriginal culture within our school community.
