Our school hall transforms into a vibrant gallery showcasing the beautiful and imaginative artwork created by our students for our biannual Art Show. We warmly invite our parent community to join us for an enjoyable evening of socialising and connection. Students will provide live music with singing and instrumentals, creating a delightful atmosphere. Parents will also have the opportunity to purchase their child’s artwork, with all proceeds supporting fundraising efforts for our school.

NAIDOC Day
NAIDOC Week celebrations at GSPS begin with a community breakfast, Acknowledgment of Country, followed by powerful performances by local artists, featuring traditional dance and didgeridoo.
Students take part in a meaningful smoking ceremony, walking through the smoke as a symbol of cleansing and connection. Afterwards, we gather in the hall for our NAIDOC assembly.

The Easter Hat Parade is for K-6 students and is a parade of spectacular hats made at home. Families are welcomed into the school to watch the parade and then are invited to attend a picnic with their children.
