About us
Garden Suburb Public School, situated in Lake Macquarie North, is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where students, teachers, and parents work together to achieve excellence and personal bests. We promote core values of respect, responsibility, and wellbeing, encouraging students to become respectful and responsible learners. Our diverse programs include opportunities in performing arts, technology, and a proud sporting tradition supported by extensive playground facilities that foster physical activity and teamwork.
The school includes three Support unit classes, ensuring tailored support for all students. We have strong partnerships with an active P&C, the Kumaridha Aboriginal Education Consultative Group, and the wider community. Our Yarning Circle and spacious grounds enable rich outdoor learning experiences and community engagement through organised events that support student learning.
As part of the Cardiff Community of Schools, Garden Suburb Public School upholds high expectations for student achievement and wellbeing. We offer leadership development programs, opportunities for High Potential and Gifted students, and targeted Aboriginal initiatives. Close collaboration within the community network ensures smooth transitions to high school and the provision of evidence-based interventions for students with additional learning and support needs, helping every student to thrive.
