Our school is part of the Crossroads Zone, which encompasses 18 schools in our area.
We compete regularly in swimming, cross country, athletics, netball, touch football, soccer and hockey competitions.

In the past, GSPS has been successful in many different sports. We have won the Crossroads Swimming Championship, as well as the Handicap (small schools) trophy on numerous occasions. The Crossroads Cross Country Championship and Handicap (small schools) trophy has also been ours a few times. Our school regularly competes in the PSSA Winter Sport Finals and have won the Crossroads and Dunford Cup Netball titles several times.
We regularly compete in junior and senior Touch Football events, which promote good sportsmanship and fitness.
In the past few years we have had students compete in zone, regional, state and even national events for swimming, cross country, athletics, baseball, umpiring, golf, soccer and netball.
The wonderful sporting tradition at our school is buoyed by the excellent manners, sense of sportsmanship and competitive drive that our students show on a regular basis.
